In the spring of 1935, Japan set up a secret base in Manchuria on the orders of the emperor, Unit 731, where many innocent Chinese, Koreans and Mongolians were killed in grotesque experiments. An idealistic young doctor, Morishima, is horrified by the experiments being carried out in the camp, and when his fiancée is interned there disguised as a Chinese prisoner, he does everything he can to free her from the camp. In the meantime, cruel experiments continue to be carried out on the prisoners that can hardly be put into words. With "Men Behind The Sun 2: Laboratory Of The Devil", Godfrey Ho has not made a sequel in the true sense of the word, but rather a kind of remake that is in no way inferior to the original in its uncompromising ruthlessness. A film that requires strong stomachs and nerves.
