For many years, Captain Nolan has been obsessed with using his whaling ship to kill one of the dangerous orca whales. 

When he and his crew encounter a herd of the giant animals in the sea, he fatally injures a pregnant whale and her young. Her companion, an enormous bull orca, then begins a merciless campaign of revenge, to which several crew members fall victim. But Nolan does not allow himself to be intimidated and begins the death struggle against the beast in the Nordic Arctic Ocean...
