Assigned to investigate a series of seemingly random murders, burnt-out FBI agent Thomas Mackelway (Aaron Eckhart) must attempt to establish a pattern to the killings. The only evidence that links the crimes comes from a succession of bizarre faxes sent directly to Mackelway from an enigmatic serial killer (Ben Kingsley) who specializes in hunting other serial killers. Carrie-Anne Moss, Kevin Chamberlin co-star in this taut thriller.
