Vacationing Londoner Frances Cairnes (Cush Jumbo) wouldn't accept the Isle of Wight cops' conclusion that the hit-and-run death of her 6-year-old may never be solved. She insinuated herself in the home of her own suspect-arrogant businessman George Rattery (Jared Harris)-but her agenda will put her at odds with newly assigned PD Nigel Strangeways (Billy Howle).
