The host of an investigative news show is convinced by the CIA that the friends he has invited to a weekend in the country are engaged in a conspiracy that threatens national security.

Based on the novel of the same name by Robert Ludlum, this political thriller was Sam Peckinpah’s final film, featuring an all-star cast including Rutger Hauer, John Hurt, Burt Lancaster, Dennis Hopper, Meg Foster, Helen Shaver, Chris Sarandon and Craig T. Nelson.
