By the early '80s, disgruntled Roman cop Remo Guerra (Valerio Mastandrea) had settled into a sideline for supplementing his income... as part of a break-in gang robbing and roughing up the city's elite. It became a full-time gig once he'd been bounced from the force for his attitude-but the ensuing years would see him caught, convicted, and in a hopeless effort to go straight.
