Description

Perhaps the most iconic of the soundtracks signed by Guido & Maurizio De Angelis, certainly the one that has forever linked their name to the detective genre, founded precisely with Enzo G. Castellari's The Police Incrimina, the Law Absolves and then deployed in dozens of films set in the violent and armed Italian metropolises of the mid-70s.

On the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the film, the record company Beat Records Company produces and distributes the vinyl edition of what has become a cult classic in the panorama of Italian soundtracks, whose songs are considered archetypes of the Italian groove, taken up a thousand times later, by Napoli spara! by Mario Caiano to Quentin Tarantino's Death Proof, and compiled in eternal anthologies such as Easy Tempo, La Guepe, Beretta 70, Piombo Rovente...

A new and hard sound, a break with the style of the Italian soundtracks of the period, an acid rock steeped in funk, which in some episodes becomes cinematic prog (The Life of a Policemen) and which in others softens and elegants in enveloping dream bosses (Casa di Moda), with psychdelic flutes (by Guido) and sublime arrangements and guitars (by Maurizio).

Available in colored vinyl (red and black) of 180 grams, artwork by Daniele De Gemini, Mastering by Enrico De Gemini and, there is also an easter egg that we are sure fans of this music will really like.
