Concocted by the devious minds of Katsuhito Ishii (SHARK SKIN MAN AND PEACH HIP GIRL, PARTY 7) and two prolific advertisement directors, Hajime Ishimine and Shunichiro Miki (THE WARPED FOREST), FUNKY FOREST took the U.S. by storm when it debuted in 2005, playing numerous genre film festivals and winning awards, eventually becoming an internet-age WTF cult classic.
